MetroTransit Summer Pass

Summer school students will receive a MetroTranist summer bus pass. Those Wellstone students who are not attending summer school may purchase a Summer Pass for $29 for unlimited rides June 1st through September 4th. Students from Mr. Dan Aamot's classes staffed and presented at a booth at the 2018 Festival of Nations. Feedback from fesitval organizers is that it was the most popular booth at the event!

On Friday, May 4th, Wellstone held its Prom right here at Wellstone. Friends, food and fun made sure this was a memorable evening. It all started at 7 PM and went until 11 PM.

Wellstone International High School (WIHS) provides an equitable education for English Learners (ELs) by meeting academic and social-emotional needs. Wellstone is a Celebration-Eligible School!

The purpose of the Celebration School recognition is to identify Minnesota Title I schools that have demonstrated both excellence on the MMR which measures school performance in the areas of student proficiency, student growth, closure of the achievement gap, and graduation rates as well as success with initiatives that have led to positive student outcomes.

This year Wellstone International High School has been designated a focus school under the federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). The designation is based on student performance data that placed our school among the ten percent of schools making the largest contribution to the state’s achievement gap.
